How this site treats information

Privacy policy

This policy says, in plain language, what Iamtheone does and does not do with information when you read the notes. It is written for users in Canada.

General provisions

Iamtheone publishes static reading pages about corporate conduct. The pages do not ask you to open an account, file a report, or pay for anything. This policy describes that setup. It does not claim certification under any named statute, and it does not describe a registration that has not been provided.

If a note mentions a regulator, a standard, or a directory, that organization has its own practices. This policy covers only the pages published here.

What data may be processed

You can read every note without giving a name, email address, or payment detail. The pages do not contain forms that collect those details. Buttons that open a short explanation, and any marks you make on a page, stay in the browser while the page is open. They are not sent to Iamtheone and they are not written to an account.

Technical data

When a browser requests a page, the network and the host that delivers the file may process ordinary technical data such as an IP address, the time of the request, the browser type, and the address of the page. That is part of serving a website. These pages do not add an analytics product, and the HTML itself does not produce a visitor dashboard for the editorial project.

Cookies

The HTML and scripts published here do not set cookies. They do not run a tracker or a login, so they do not show a cookie banner. A browser, a network, or a host may still use its own technical measures. Those measures are outside the scripts on these pages.

Purposes of processing

Any technical data involved in delivering a page is used to show the page you asked for, to keep the connection reliable, and to protect the service from abuse. The notes are published so readers can study claims about business conduct in Canada. They are not used here to build a marketing profile or to sell a list of readers.

Legal bases

Readers in Canada reasonably expect a site to say why information is handled and how to raise a concern. Where technical data is processed to deliver a page you requested, that delivery is the reason. This policy does not invent a further purpose, and it does not assert formal compliance with a named act.

Third-party services

The pages do not embed advertising, payment widgets, or social plugins. Photographs are files on this site. Type is set with fonts already on your device. Names of standards and institutions in the articles are part of the reading. Mentioning them does not send your data to those institutions when you read a paragraph.

Data storage and protection

Because the pages do not collect account profiles, the editorial project does not keep a reader database. Server logs, if a host keeps them, are that host’s records and should be limited to operating and securing the site. No payment card data is collected here, because no payment is taken.

User rights

You may read the notes without identifying yourself. If you believe a host log holds information about you, you may ask what it is, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion where that applies. This publication cannot act on a request that never reaches it, and it does not publish a dedicated inbox. You can also limit what your own browser stores by using private browsing or by clearing site data.

Age

The site is a general-interest reading project. It is not a service directed at collecting information from children. Nothing on these pages asks for a child’s name or a school record.

Policy changes

If the pages later add a form, a cookie, or a third-party script, this policy will be revised in the same plain language before that tool is described as absent. This version matches a site that publishes articles, photographs, and small on-page reading tools. The date of this version is 30 September 2026.

Contact about privacy

No postal address, telephone number, or email address is published for privacy requests, because none was provided. Please do not send personal documents to a guessed address. The corporate information page states the limits of what this publication is.
