You never really want to be the one that needs help, but it is so appreciated when you can be the one to step up and help someone else. There has been a lot of media coverage about the problems people are facing in Cambridge because of homelessness, addictions, mental health issues, and poverty. But I keep going back to the truth of us as human beings;  some of us have experienced more trauma and heartache than others, and yet we are all here experiencing the same thing.

We need to add a human element to our approach. It’s not until you actually go through something that you learn how much of a difference we can make, and understand that we all matter.
